    Talonclaw

Anyone else into hobby-grade Nerf? This is my Talonclaw, a 3D printed Nerf blaster that will shoots at 200fps. Nerf blasters are great for practicing snap shooting around the house. If you have any interest getting started, I would highly recommend checking out the Dart Zone Aeon Pro and Dart Zone Nexus Pro. They'll shoot over 150fps out of the box and the Aeon Pro is $25 at Walmart.

I was into the hobby with my son until Covid shut down our local Nerf wars. I was mostly just modifying and custom painting Nerf blasters, learned soldering and did Lipo mods, etc. I enjoyed learning about the whole world of 3D printed blasters, and their's nothing like that happening in paintball, but never took the plunge. Part of that was that I really needed to keep my velocity in the 90-120fps range for kid safety. Now our local wars have started back up, and we're going to give it a go again on the 24th, so hopefully it goes well. I like pretty much anything that fires a projectile of some sort, and I like how creative the Nerf hobby is compared to paintball. The two hobbies are apples and oranges, but their both enjoyable if you don't take them too seriously. That Talonclaw would be fun to shoot in the house, as long as the darts don't put a dent in the drywall!
