Same in Virginia, going to get hot. I oddly enough bought a small inflatable pool for giggles last weekend and might just open up the box and go for it this weekend.
Not too bad back home in NH it looks likeI am the admin...

It's been 100°+ in my area of California for around a week now.

3 straight days with 90+* heat in WI. But I suppose I should shut up & be happy. It’s still hot for around here, though.
Relief will come for us starting tomorrow. High of 81*, Sunday is a high of 78*. However, right now we have a thunderstorm passing over & the lights have been flickering like mad. And as I type this the wind just doubled. Gonna be an interesting night.
EDIT: And with old 60amp overhead power, lol.

scottieb No, this is my dad’s/his mother’s place. He’s on at-home hospice & I’m living with him right now. Honestly, the place doesn’t need more than 60a. It’d actually be a good place to make an OTG home. And any re-wiring would be a nightmare. As rural as we are, 60a isn’t uncommon.

It’s been mid - upper 90’s here in central Mississippi but that’s pretty normal for this time of year. They’ve predicted 100+ but i don’t think it ever actually hit it. They’re calling for 100+ the next few days too so we’ll see. I’m pretty accustomed to the heat though. This is my 3rd summer without AC.

I'm normally the "I'm from Arizona, this isn't hot" asshole, but once it gets above 100 I'm not quite as cocky. Normally it's over 100 only 3-4 days a year here, this year we've had many more than that. We had a really late start to summer this year though, so I'm not really complaining. Usually it's 90+ by June, this year was barely pushing 80s thru most of June. But, I did play paintball today and it was over 100. I don't ever remembe sweating so much in my life. I don't know how I survived playing in the Arizona summers.

Summer been like this everywhere I've lived the past 10+ years. At least in Virginia where I'm at now it hasn't hit over low 90s (and doesn't appear that will happen this season but I know it has in the past) and I'd rather have hot humid than dry after living in high desert for so long. But still too hot for sure, been putting off paintball.

Played today at Paintball Charleston (SC) and it got up to around 90 with pretty high humidity. Ended up getting, I think, 8 games in before we finally wore down. Funny enough my best set of games personally were the last two even though my aged ass was dragging.

There's a reason I sell half my gear in August each year. Even the thought of going outside is disgusting.
To be fair, though, winters are fantastic here.1 PhotoFeedback
