Avratech R7 ‘magic nipple’

Hey everybody. Recently bought a R7 and it appears as if the mythical magic nipple has been replaced with a home made remedy. Appearing to be a garage made delrin plug. It works well enough, but I’m having some efficiency issues. And I’d like to see about solving that.

Was hoping that some of you here who own an R7 could send me a photo of your magic nipple so I can attempt to source something similar or make one myself.

What sort of numbers are you getting from a 12 gram?
Are you using the stock barrel and is it bored?

I get right around 30 shots with the stock 6" barrel that is freaky. Mine does have a milled down hammer (which i think isn't standard?) which may help..

I will take mine apart tonight if I have time. It would be great to have an exploded view of an R7 in the Avratech section.

True that. I hope mine is a stock magic-nipple.

Paint matching the best I can, but like I said, it’s alittle inconsistent as it’s some pretty garbage hk stuff. Comically small and dimpled. So I’m sure that’s a variable.

The shot count I’m basing on how many shots I can get while dry firing. Which is about 22.

Dry firing won't give you a reliable shot count I'm afraid.
Have to put paint through it.

If this is the r7 I think it is this one passed through my hands at one point. My solution was to go to the hardware store and get a seal kit for a Delta shower faucet and a bronze washer. It was Mike Holt that came up with a plastic replacement for it, but not 100% sure if it's the same one.
