I hope you and your family get through this safely.

Side note for your wife in case she is scared: My cousin gave birth last month while being covid +. She gave birth to a healthy baby. There is hope.

Get the test so you know what you're dealing with. Its also Flu season.
Hopefully it doesn't hit hard. Some people have to go to the hospital and others have very mild symptoms; lets hope for the latter.

Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. I'm going to take a break from everything for a bit. I did get the call and test results are positive.
This is not something you want. It's worse than a really bad cold or flu. All your joints ache and hurt, not like a soreness to your muscles because you used them a lot, but a deep, inner ache that is in every joint you have. And there's no relief. No position I can find brings comfort. I have little energy and small tasks consume what little energy there is leaving me exhausted. My mouth and throat are constantly dry and man! what a terrible taste there is! Brushing the teeth does not help it go away. I also have the chills. So cold. I shiver at night in bed and my teeth chatter. Hot showers feel great though. If I turn my head too fast, the world spins out of control and I'll fall over. And a weird thing, I feel slightly delirious. Hard to have mental focus. I should not make any important decisions right now.

Take vitamin D. And make sure you’re getting at least 20 mins of sun p/d. God bless, my prayers go out to you and your family.

Any idea how or where she came down with it? A good (young) friend of mine came down with it a few months ago and she had a hell of a time with it, luckily she didn’t end up in the hospital. Praying for you guys.

Thank you again for the hopeful, encouraging, kind words.

I went from mere sniffles to misery to at present, a nasty head congestion, sore throat, and little energy. The wife's still bridled with a headache that won't pass, a cough, and a burning chest. Two out of three children seem great and I believe they are past it. Our daughter is improving though still has a cough and congestion. Right hoping this will clear up by next week!
