Sometime around 2004 or so the internet was full of Paintball forums and I investigated most if not all of them.
MCB was one of the few places that was sensible (along with the dear departed Stock Class Paintball) and has been one of the few to survive.

I can't remember if it was google-fu or a suggestion on PbN that led me to here for a guide on Tippmann Pro-lite valve removal. It was Fall 2010, and I was doing Pro-lite cleaning in my dorm, and I hadn't figured out that hidden metal block that retains the valve and controls the valve bounce.

I found it by accident and like a tar pit I've never been able to escape.

Wasn't getting enough bruises in the bedroom, so I took up paintball.

Had too much money, so I joined MCB.

Ha! I'm joking of course. I never had any money.

I was looking to buy Nel-spots. Found this place and never left.

Found it in the early 2000s. Not a clue exactly when or why? Maybe it was when I had my first autococker or I just was lurking forums for information about anything. Heck I could have been trying to buy, sell or trade something.

IIRC... Very early 2004 or possibly late 2003... After an internet search of "old paintball markers", that lead me to VintageRex. From there I found a link to MCB v1.0... By mid 2004, I had made my first MCB purchase(PGP2K complete with UMB, wire stock and a PK45 adapter w/stickfeed) from slowcode. It was all downhill from there....I bought my first (and only so far) Hawaiian shirt in Dec 2004 and headed out to meet up with this group of degenerates at BotB.

I believe his excuse was, that he'd just flew in from one of his underwear modeling gigs. And that was all he had in the car at the time.

I can recognize NSD only because he still wears that Hawaiian. And maybe that hat. I assume there's a Misfits t-shirt under the hoodie, too

Found a Barn full of old KPs and markers from that era and the owner asked if I wanted to buy them.. Searching for Info brought me here...

The pump scene in the Greater Toronto Area was really starting to grow around 2007-2008, and the local forum (tdotballers) wasn't really that big on the scene.

A friend of mine got me into playing pump and recommended this place. It was actually a financial decision at first. Especially in 2008-2009, the Canadian Dollar was almost on par with USD so being willing to have things shipped over the border(and take the risk of someone shipping UPS) was a big advantage. I bought and sold snipers like crazy from here, and any I didn't want to keep I sold at a profit in Canada.

I really didn't understand MCB until I got a bit older.

Via warpig, PhOG, SCP or guild probably- its been a while.

                    I'm monogamous these days.

The crash was like coming home from work and discovering your wife had moved out but left the kids.

I don't remember if the was the old PhOG or SCP. One/both of those forums pointed me to the MCB, 2-3 crashes ago.

Introduced to the game and MCB about a year ago by ChoSanJuan. I have an appreciation for older markers. The amount of knowledge and gear out here is bonkers.

                          Heh, guess it's my turn...

I came back to the game last year after 12 year hiatus. I always knew about MCB, but I was always on that "other" site. When I came back it was all SignOfZeta 's fault. So I recovered all my pb related accounts and officially signed up for MCB.

Through Automags.org. There I saw a pump game being held at my local field, and that day I feel in love with stock class play. I was getting too old to deal with agglets and they were making me hate the game. I think that was 2004?
