I got here from..from..over there. Wait, where am I again?I

Isn't MCB a mutation of the OGOG ( Old Gun Owner's Group) ?

PBN says I joined them in 2002. I think that I was here long before that. I've been on 90% of the PB forums at one point or another.

I kept coming back as part of my bargain hunting routine for gear that I could afford as a kid. Then the quality conversations outside of B/S/T became apparent and I participated in those. That's been the main draw ever since. No clue how I originally found the forums, though. Probably a B/S/T link or recommendation.

I was on the PGPOG and PhOG as well as SCP back in 2004/5 and around that time a few of the dudes "in the know" said to come over to MCB for the b/s/t being so litty. Wandered over and lurked for a couple months before jumping in to try and snag a Rainmaker that S7G was selling. That was back in 2005 and from then on out I was addicted to old guns and ended up buying and selling old guns all the way through high school (joined here when I was 14) and then taking a break from paintball 2 years into college. Came back in 2016 to the same old forum I knew and loved. Lots of good memories on here (and the 2 previous iterations of MCB).

oh snap. That's probably how I found MCB as well: PhOG and SCP were my jam back in those days.

Wanted to buy a cheap pump to try and recapture my love for the game after I burned out of the tournament scene in 2008. Someone on PBN told me to check here.

I remember before MCB, I would post sometimes on OGOG. THe "old gun owners group" formed by rambopreacher I think? Someone posted a link to "Webdog Radio" which had a collection of old paintball related shows and videos from the 90s. At some point, I lost the link, and while trying to google in, I was sent to MCB around 2004 or so.

I was being nostalgic when I wanted to get back into paintball looking for the original markers I played with; PMI Trracer and ACI F4 Illustrators. Most results were from here. Eventually found the Phantoms and happened to find one locally through here. That was 2012.

I don't remember at all. Must've been mentioned on another forum. I don't even remember the year now that we have the new site.

That was a long time time ago, how can I remember something that far back in my advanced age?
Probably came over from rec.sports.paintball or from warpig.

I was a regular member of the original VM Empire forum and I was searching custom VM stuff and parts and such and I stumbled across one of the earlier incarnations of MCB back in 2002....I forgot about it for a while and then stumbled across it again in 2003 joined up and never looked back

I bought a splatmaster back in ... uhh.. 2000 or 2001. Joined up here, seemed neat. Posted a bunch, crashed the site once, somehow, got made a mod.

Its been a hell of a ride.

Yeah, I know, I'm a baby in MCB years

How did you end up here?
Damn near the same thing, discovered MCB when I was in high school as a little hustler trying to get parts I couldn't afford new!.....Didn’t ever take a true break but being military when I get deployed I can’t bring my stuff with me. When I got back from this last deployment I wanted to take my new guys out to get to know them better, one of the guys we played against ran a PGP. It was something in high school I wanted forever so I tried to log back in, didn’t work....started a new account....then we got hacked after about a year haha

But I love this forum as its a group of people who have unique tastes in ball! I love it all Speedball, woodsballs, pumps, cockers, milsim/scenario......I’d crazy about it all and refuse to outgrow it!

Just followed the sound of the Simonizer at EMR and after a couple Carteritas I couldn't find my way back.

Was looking up how to fix my Rex R2, found my way to Docsmachine. Saw Mcarterbrown mentioned a couple times and took a look. The R2 is long gone but I never would have made it here without that touchy little blowback.
