        My typical method when confronted by a puzzle like that, is akin to Alexander and the Gordian knot.

        In this case, a flamethrower would be ideal.

            hmm, asides from keeping it covered from the sun bleaching it... i could suspend a platform over my pool.. that could fit the requirements, and the weather here is pretty uneventful for the most part we went like 275 days with no rain...
