Cf tank cut into marker stand

does anybody please have the correct angle to cut an old cf tank to use as a marker stand? Ive seen it but cant seem to find it again.

    Thanks for any help

Just make sure to fill it first, makes cutting it apart a lot quicker.

Filling it first almost makes it do the work itself. Why work harder?

To work on actually answering your question...... put the marker you intend to display on the tank, hold it so that the marker feels balanced on top of the tank. Draw a line on the tank showing the angle that will balance it best. Start cutting. Fill the tank with concrete after you cut the bottom off and glue on a piece of felt for a nice finished appearance.

Hey Spider. It wont let me post a pic, says ive used up my quota or something. Heres a link to kind of what it looks like, these are 3d printed ones tho. Real ones use way more of the tank.

*Edit Feb 6th, 2018 - Added a faux regulator! This is a fully 3D printable display stand for your favorite paintball marker. It features two parts, the bottle, and an octagonal insert. This shape lets you "time" the regulator so you can position the gauge/fill nipple in 8 different positions!Supplied are a 20 degree angled bottle, and a 30 degree angled bottle, an insert for a real life regulator you might have in your parts bin, or you can print a faux regulator! If you want custom angles, or just want to customise, i've added the solidworks files too. Enjoy! Please read the readme file for any additional information. (Faux regulator was added later and is not added in the readme file)

Thanks! Those are interesting! Better yet, I hadn't seen Fixel on thingiverse! I'm glad to see he's still at it.

I'm late to the party, but if you're cutting carbon, wear a respirator. It's not good for your lungs.
