Thinking about having an enclosed trailer custom built for paintball use. 5 man xball and 10 man mech teams. Just curious to hear some ideas or suggestions from those of you that either own an enclosed trailer used for paintball or those of you on a team that have a trailer. What would you want in the trailer that you either currently have or wish you had while your at tournaments?

If I was building a trailer that was only for paintball I think the main thing I would want to know is budget. Also is this a work trailer only, sleep and work trailer or command center that does everything? If we are talking an unlimited budget then there are some things that I would want and some things that I feel you need.
As far as needs: a work area, with marker stands, tools, oils / grease, chrono and parts for the main markers and parts for tanks. I would have a power plug or two at that work area, Lights for the work area as well as a radio and if the parking area is outside the main play area then a built in radio for communications. A first aid kit and a hydration station. Battery and charging area (phones, markers hoppers and anything else that charges goes there) that is away from the work area. A battery, converter and charging system I would suggest solar. If you are wanting to sleep in this area either a single cot on the floor or a couple of hinged hanging "racks" If you are sleeping in that area then a fan and heater.
I would want a fill area with a pod filler and area to store pods. I like the Heitek one as it is collapsible and movable. I would also want a cabinet to hold the markers when in transit, as well as lock them up. A cover that comes out of the side and tables that could be the fill area as well as hang out area. Even if you have a cover that comes from the trailer I would still suggest a 10 x 10 or 10 x 20 ez up.
Some suggestions that will come forth that I do not think you need is air, either compressor, scuba tanks or anything else most of the places you go have air anymore so you would waste money there. Also paint storage at most you will need 1 pod of paint for testing and you can get away with reballs for that, most big game fields and tournaments do not allow outside paint so you will get it when you get there. That is not to say having a pallet or table to put the paint on would not be a good idea.

If you do want a place for players/family/significant others to sleep/relax, nothing saves room like using nylon hammocks. All ya need are hooks on each wall but make sure the walls are sturdy enough to support the weight.
A clean-up station with spray bottles, paper towel dispenser, etc is useful, esp for x-ball where you need to clean fast before the next point.
Try to incorporate at least 1 scuba tank for the tech. Out of a 10 man team, one of you must have one laying around. It could save the tech some hassle even if the field does provide air. Plus there is sometimes a line for air and the wait could cost ya a point.
Collect items that need to be ready at a moments notice....replacement burst disks, fill nipples, barrel blockers, grip tape, squeezes, etc, and have them organized and super accessible.
I'd love to see this trailer put together. Just thinking about such a neat idea makes me smile 😁

Budget & size of the trailer really dictate what you can do with it: you have a lot more options with a stacked car hauler than you do with a small 6' tow-behind. Briefly skimming some trailer sites they range in price from $2,000 to over $100,000. The stuff the racing teams do with their trailers is probably a good place to look for ideas. They have all of their tools, clothing, equipment, work space, kitchen, racks for sleeping, etc. Otherwise I think jokers has a really good start.
Things I would want:- Water tank for a quick rinse-off / cleaning gear
- A canopy / canopy attachment- similar to what you see on RV's
- Lockable storage for all the things
- A work area
- Lots and lots of lighting- both fixed and portable
- Power- tools, charging for phones & laptops, TV / DVD / XBox for down time
- Ventilation- at a minimum some roof hatches, if possible windows.
- Small camp kitchen: stove, refrigerator, prep counter
- D-rings in the floor for tie-downs
- Racks on the roof + built-on ladder
- Modular systems- both storage and load securing.

Well, this is old, but if you watch everything on display ~ the tents, tables, display boards and equipment all fit into the one 6x12 foot standard box trailer you see 30 seconds in.

As long as you're not trying to pack a 10-man team inside it all at once, I don't know why you would need something "custom built".
