    Kitten Caught a Moose

Not only did the kitten catch a mouse this morning (Or last night and was just playing with it this morning) BUT he also scared the crap out of my wife when she saw it.

Meanwhile I'm thinking to myself... Win - Win He gets to stay.

Nice so the mouse gets to stay as a cat toy... Is that fair to the mouse?
Is your wife on board with that decision?

My cat has been ruthless this year. She's averaging a mouse a day.... With one day being 5. She does her duty and leaves em right by the sliding glass door for us to praise her about.

Avian species, however..... She eats em. Damn cat loves her white meat.

Only reason I got a cat was because of a mouse issue. Tried every type of trap with no luck, so went the nuclear route and got a cat. She used to live in a warehouse, so knew how to fend for herself. No more mice in the house, unless kitty manages to sneak her friend in. Also enjoys the odd flying creature but a bell has helped a lot. For a while she was finding a field mouse a day. Must have wiped out an entire colony. Oh, and she loves to cuddle while purring and chirping. So win-win!

We keep an indoor/outdoor cat mainly for the anti-rodent capabilities (though the wife loves to cuddle with her too). Doing this comes with many surprises to include mouse brought into house and let go to have more fun chasing; baby rabbits kills; hair balls made of feathers; carcass remains of the lower half of the body...etc.

Isn’t there a thread in members only about certain parts of a moose? Was it the knee or the knuckle?! Something like that...
