i really dont like these kinds of articles for this reason.

it makes it seem like well be powering our homes with this method when in all actuality, that couldn't be further from the truth.

This one isn’t really that guilty of that sort of thing, but in general I agree. The spread of Scientism (that is, an admiration, respect, or outright worship of science but nearly zero actual understanding of it, it’s history, or how it works) is a significant problem. A lot of people think they’ll be flying on electric passenger planes any day now and the whole thing will run off solar panels. The depth of peoples ignorance is astounding.
