    Voting Day!

Keeping this non-political per the rules, but I just wanted to say Happy Voting Day!! Get out there and do your thing!

The wife and I just got back. Line was long but moved pretty dang quick.

I live in a rural area, I voted at town hall last week. My wife & I were the only people in there and it was very well-organized. Pleasantly surprised from all the horrorshow stuff you hear about on the news.

No line here, but it's a small town in a big area.
But I would encourage everyone to cast their vote today if you have not already done so.

Wow. I got a like for the post in less than ten seconds. Almost suspicious...

Voted last week! The city had a bunch of early voting sites setup. I went to the convention center- super easy to get in and do my thing. Brief line to check-in but only 1 or 2 people deep, and that was mostly coincidental.

I voted at the end of last week at the Courthouse. Took all of 15 minutes and 5 of that was not knowing where to go. Great experience, think I may do that more often.

I voted by mail for both the primary and general this year. Let me say I'm a fan. I can take my time, research every candidate on the ticket, and make the appropriate choice at my leisure.

Me too! Wife and I spent a few hours going through the whole ballot and discussing after dinner, sealed it up and sent it off the next day. Easy, convenient, and no pressure. Definitely doing that again next time.

Oregon is vote by mail - that being said, I've dropped my ballot into the same drop box every election since 2004.

Dropped of our ballots a couple weeks ago and verified that they were received.

Already hearing stirrings of voter fuckery around here.

NJ is mail in or drop off only. Wife and I dropped the ballots in the drop box after the last debate. Even smiled for the camera that was blatantly staring at us.

I tried to think of the most harmless thing. Something I loved from my childhood. Something that could never ever possibly destroy us.

I voted at the courthouse a while back. PA doesn't have early voting per se, but you can apply in person for a "mail in" ballot, receive it, fill it out, and hand it back to the clerk in one convenient trip.
