No, I am not drinking reaper coffee.

I also feel this way. I enjoy spice but not so much that it makes me want to die.
I've been growing peppers in the last few years, and I've actually coming to terms that I might not even enjoy hot peppers anymore. I think mild peppers are more my speed these days. I had about a zillion tiny red chili peppers that I couldnt' even eat other than using one in a large pot of food.

Oh hell no. I don't want to explain how my ass became welded to a toilet seat.

i not a runner, if anyone saw me, that would be obvious. lol i have heard about "runners high" though, ive never personally experienced it.
peppers, for me, are similar. every time i go up in heat, its a shock to the system. it clears my head and re-starts my brain. i can feel my nerves going nuts and firing at 60Hz. its euphoric. i feel weight lifting off my shoulders and a sense of clarity as the fog in my mind fades.
usually by the end of the bottle, it just becomes "hot" and i no longer get the above effect. i need to find hotter. chasing the tail of the dragon i suppose.

this has been over many many years of my life. i can see how it would not be fun if someone who perceives Tabasco as "hot" attempted to try Ghost or Scorpion pepper.
you have to build up to it. imagine your 1st time drinking and trying to keep up with an alcoholic... it wouldnt end well lol

If I want spice/bite, ill throw in a dash of spice rum or a spicy burbon. Just a dash, no more.
