I cropped, rotated and enlarged the pic. Sorry guys, but try as I might, I just couldn't fully crop out the boobs. You'll just have to put up with them.
Okay, going from the Reddit thread and whatnot, the movie was made in '94. The Rainmaker didn't come out 'til '97 or so, so it's not that. It's not a Badger, since those were never back-bottle. The body does look Sterling pump, but there's no bolt. Not a big problem as it's a movie prop, they could have taken the pump and bolt off, to add that foregrip thing.
My only objection to that is the trigger guard, which appears to be somewhat squared off. I don't recall any Sterlings having that. The wood grips look odd, too, like they're mounted too low, or something.
What really tickles my fancy are those little black squiggles right above her thumb. Those look a LOT like the pneumatics hoses of a Stroker or Typhoon.
Which makes me wonder: I seem to recall seeing, many years ago, an early prototype- basically a development mule- for what was to become the Sovereign. I have no idea where those pics went, or if they're even still online anywhere, but my hazy memory seems to think there was a largish ram up front, moving the hammer in a Rainmaker type fashion, rather than the later Autococker way.
That is by no means a definitive ID, and it's 97.8% wild-ass guess, but really, without a sharper pic, or more angles, I'm not sure we can do better than "the main body kind of looks Sterling-ish."

Hum. Okay, from the second view, the "forearm" appears to have those perforated presumably-metal sides, with a wood (or woodgrain-plastic) bottom gripping surface.
The grip is clearly An AR-15 style bolt on (like a Phantom, SI Bushmaster, VM-68, etc.) The woodgrain look makes me think it's more likely to be molded woodgrain plastic, and the bottom of the "front shroud" is likely the same material.
I've never personally seen "woodgrain" AR-15 furniture, either factory or aftermarket, but on the other hand, I'd be kind of surprised if there weren't.
The buttstock, to me, looks very much like the tube from a MicroCA, screwed into an early brass reg, that makes me think something like a first-gen KC NoHotShots? I seem to recall those came in brass for a while. The buttplate doesn't look MicroCA- same style, but the tube OD is too big.
Also from this view, we can see the big 50MM red-dot is mounted slightly offset, presumably to clear the feed neck. And note there's a huge barrel extension, like a giant muzzle brake- looks like a series of big holes on the side, that presumably match the holes in the foregrip. Interesting those don't appear in the side view- presumably we're seeing through them to the background in that shot.
Still nothing definitive, other than the presence of an AR-15 style grip precludes it from being a Badger (which had a solid metal gas-thru grip) or a Sterling (which had a Sheridan-style cast-potmetal full frame.) The Sovereigns had an AR-style removable grip, but again, not that squared-off trigger guard.
It's not impossible it's a gussied-up Hammer II, although I thought those didn't come out 'til the later 90s. Somebody said the movie was filmed in Australia, and since semiautos were illegal to import (not have, just import) it's not outside the realm of possibility somebody fitted 'Cocker pneumatics to a Hammer II. The only thing about that is the timeline- I thought the Spyder was Kingman's first product, and that came out in '94 or '95. (At least, that's when I saw my first one. )
And I was given to understand it was several years later- '97 or '98 at least- before the pumps came out.
Anybody have better info on that one?

If I had to guess, I'd say one of the crew (background actors, stage hands, etc.) was into paintball, and likely offered it to the director as a cool sci-fi looking prop. (Since the movie was in general a sort of "near future" setting.)
Something similar was done for the movie Moon, where the "gun" shown (just the once) was actually the personal property of the visual effects supervisor.
I'm personally leaning toward the "customized and possibly auto-cocking Hammer II" thing. While it's impossible to verify the customizing without additional pics, the major features, like the grip mounting, body shape and backbottle location, fit the H2.
Maybe somebody should see if there's an Aussie paintball Facebook page or something, maybe somebody in there will remember it.
