    I’m tired of these #*+<%# snakes in my #%+=^% house!

    So last year i found a king snake in my bathroom but it got away before i could catch it. A while later i found (presumably) the same snake in my laundry room. Again it got away into the wall before i could catch it. A while after that i come home to find 4-5 baby king snakes in my living room! I managed to get a couple but the rest got away. Well that was the last i saw any snakes……until tonight. Just got home from work & I’ll be danged if there wasn’t a small king snake in the kitchen on the counter behind the faucet. I managed to catch this one & I'm going to re-home it far away tomorrow. I understand that king snakes aren’t dangerous & are actually good to have around your house. I’m not particularly scared of snakes but I’d rather not have them inside if possible. So my question is, does anybody have any suggestions on how to get them out? I wouldn’t use glue traps unless the snakes were venomous so that’s pretty much off the table. Otherwise, I’m open to suggestions.

    What are they eating? Control for bugs and rodents and they might not see a reason to stick around.
    I find peppermint oil repellents work well for rodents. And my attic smells like a pack of chewing gum for the next month.

      Well the one i caught was too small to eat anything except bugs probably. I live out in the country & i have mice. I catch them but there’s always more.

      Being from Canada and not having this issue, I personally wouldn’t recommend this because of the hassle and the time it would take to replace stuff but most people up here I think would just burn their house down after the first sighting.

        Remember:
        Scented candle = oops.
        Gasoline = insurance fraud.

        Check this out. They sell premixed stuff on Amazon but I always made my own. I’m down in FL and spray it near my pool area from time to time (haven’t seen a baby rattlesnake since). Downside is itll smell like a pack of big red
