Ah Witches stairs. They are cool until your drunk and need to figure out how to use them.
You run into those in some 17th century houses houthe area. But more so in Massachusetts. -
“Code enforcement”? What is that? Do you live in North Korea?
If that’s not a public staircase nobody is going do anything about it at all. You can put just about anything in your own house…all the weird staircases can lead to non-working toilets filled with Lego. Unless you have an actual suicide booth or Mutoscope fill with child pornography nobody is taking anything out of a common North American household. Until you go to sell it, nobody can do anything.
