I don’t know. To me to be “super old” you have to be at least…60? I think of “old people” as being like my grandpa who I never even knew until he was 55. Average lifespan is like 76. Bob Newhart died at 94. I don’t think 47 (7/7/77) is that old.

I remember the dork on the school announcements specifically mentioning 8/8/88. I started playing paintball, I think, the year after that.

8/8/88 I had seen my first deterrent deployment on the Submarine (USS James K. Polk SSBN 645) my first paintball adventure wasn't until that November.

Super Old is also contextual. Your lifestyle and choices determine the measuring stick for longevity. Bull Fighters and Gladiators seldom lived the full expectancy of contemporary shopkeepers. Some of us have lived the life of a test dummy, so everyday above ground counts as super old.
