I'm just gutted by this, fantastic human and player taken too soon all because someone decided to get behind the wheel all sauced. RIP Johnny and Matthew. Condolences to his family and the Blue Jackets.

Pretty terrible incident. Losing two family members at once. Knew a person who lost their fiancé under similar circumstances. So senseless.

Just saw that his wife announce she's pregnant with another baby. What an absolute tragedy. Made so much worse that it's preventable. Don't drink and drive.
