I see AC threaded dye style backs that are freak bored and take UL tips come up occasionally on eBay. Does anyone still make them as a production item or do I need to lurk around and jump in the ones that pop up?
Freak back for UL tips

Autococker Parts makes one, also tips that look identical. The backs are 1" shorter than standard UL, so if you use a Dye brand UL tip the overall length will be shorter, unless you get one of the Autococker Parts replica tips.

The ACP dye clone might be more the aesthetic Quickling is looking for, though...Comment

I was wrong, was thinking of the XL backs that take UL tips, but was going to post the oil canComment

Thank you for all of the links. The only reason I asked about production was that curatedpaintball had one listed a few months ago claiming it was a doc's machine part.
I have seen UL fronts on ebay indicating that they are cut for freak inserts, I am guessing that means the XL inserts? I just want a 5" freak insert back that I can use all of my UL fronts with and not have any modifications required.Comment
