Ok, I added it to poll, feel free to re-vote. My apologies for the transgression

There was a lot of good and bad SciFi during the 80s but of the ones listed in the poll for me Aliens just edged out the Thing as my favorite.

Man…that list is *short*…and it only includes movies that made money. It’s…not a great list, sorry.
Also…where did you get all that weird AI generated looking art?
BLADE FUCKING RUNNER isn’t on this list and it’s slam dunk #1. No danger.
Others sadly missing…
Brazil
Angel’s Egg
Buckaroo Banzai
Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind
Max Headroom - 20 Minutes Into the Future
The Heroic Trio
Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure
Repo Man
Transformers The Movie
Gundam I-III
I don’t think When the Wind Blows really counts…

I remember when Nausicaa in the valley of the wind was called Warriors of the wind. I absolutely love that movie. It was one of the first animations of that style if my memory is correct. Stunning movie

Bill and Ted! Heck yea, I don’t know why, but Inever really considered it a Sci-fi movie until right now…it makes sense and belongs in this genre
