    RIP Crosman

It may not be news to some, but back in April, Crosman, which had bought out Sheridan and Benjamin a long time ago, was sold by its holding company to Daisy/Gamo.

The Crosman New York facility in Bloomfield is officially closed as of January 1st 2025. The existing parts stock and inventory are being shipped to Daisy in Arkansas. The 150 Crosman employees are laid off and the manufacturing equipment and real estate are being sold.

What does this mean to us? To some that maintain old Sheridan equipment, Crosman did maintain some vital parts for years after the Sheridan line was discontinued. These are now obsolete, as the Crosman people have been saying for the past year. When the existing parts are gone, there will be no more as Daisy/Gamo are not going to maintain them for obsolete equipment not produced in China.

RIP Crosman. I enjoyed dealing with the customer reps who often would go looking for things for me and call me back. They were always very good to deal with.

How will G&H Customs be affected by this situation? Are there alternatives?

Yes. We have been solving this problem for some time. Every part we need can be made, in fact better. Had we known this when we started, we probably would not have started at all.

Sad to hear. I would have figured that all their stuff was already made in China, and that they were larger than 150 employees. Or at least big enough that their customer service wouldn't be that personal. I might have thrown them more business if I'd known.

They outsourced many parts to South Korea. I asked when they would be re-ordered and they said they won't be.

Paintball stuff aside, their airgun and related products were a big part of my (and many other's) adolescence. Even a gateway into paintball. That's sad news.

I still have my original 3357 .177cal dismantled and needing a rebuild. I've been putting off for a few decades now.

Wait a week and call the number. They said they won't take any back orders on parts because they don't know what Daisy will do yet.

1-800-724-7486, for Crosman. Every one of the five parts I wanted to order was backordered. "the ship from overseas was delayed". They suggested I check back in three weeks...

I only have a few rebuilds worth of 3357 parts in my inventry, but they will be used up fast. If you want your Crosman 3357 or AGA62 rebuilt/restored, better get it to me soon.

I just bought a 40pk last week at Meijer and there were a bunch more on the shelf. I don't know how long that'll last though.

Crosman is now Daisy. Huge market for 12 grams still exists.
