Just came across PBVault.com. I’ve been on the BST forums for around 15 years and I’ve never heard of this website. Are any of you guys on it and is it active?

If nothing else I was excited to see something new (to me) paintball related online.

Man, in a quick search I found a reddit rant talking about how the app Is broken, but in his rant one huge note caught my eye.. their seller feed are allegedly

Yeah, the 9.9% fee is correct for selling. But, the app doesn't do much to boost listings unless you relist an item entirely. Search functionality doesn't work great, and push notifications seem to work half the time when I was trying to buy/sell items there. Now I just leave my stuff as a collection and don't bother with the BST portion. I've had way better luck with forums and FB groups.

I just got on it the other day. As a seller, you’ll get messaged by scammers at least once a week attempting to pay you directly, and then they send a fake zelle, Venmo, or PP payment receipt. Or they’ll send a phishing e-mail trying to get your information.

also unlike ebay, you have to set up the shipping label before you publish the listing. The buyer pays for the shipping, but for some reason the app doesnt give the option for USPS Ground (only flat rate) so you have to do UPS ground instead. Just something to think about because UPS charges for package pick ups so that’s an inconvenience for me, to have to drop packages off at UPS

…also seller fees are 10% so a little lower than ebay’s 15-20%.

I've been om the app for some time and it is really only good to display your collection. The BST features are not well defined, and leave very little to make you want to sell on their platform. For example, you can make offers on guns that are for sale.... except if the seller doesn't reject or accept your offer it never expires. At any point in time the seller can choose to accept your offer leaving you on the hook to pay for the marker regardless of how much time has passed. If you read the rules on the site you must complete the transaction or be banned. I've reached out to the SINGLE moderator/admin about it as well because I found myself in this exact situation where the seller was gone for over a year. They admitted the app has tons of unresolved issues and they are slowly working them out.

There is also fine print on how you cannot list your marker for sale on any other site of you list it for sale there. The fees for sells are around 10% as well, cheaper than ebay, but still more than just selling it in the forums or FB groups which are way more active. I feel like the majority of items listed are just stupid proflex builds for excessive costs or people who just list stuff to show off the collection.

Thats nuts. Good to know. I won’t be making offers on anything. Not the automated way through the app, anyway
