    Buying Paintballs Online

Here I am with my re-newbie questions again.

I’m out in the middle of the Pacific. In an area with no paintball fields (or paintball stores). But I’d like to have quality paint on hand. Does anyone have experience getting cases shipped? I know I’ll have to pay more for shipping than the average person but I wanted to ask the hive mind first.

I checked ANS already. $100 for USPS for 3 cases. Sounds about right for Hawai’i but that’s not sustainable.

    thanks!

I feel your pain man - I've shipped allot of stuff to clients in Hawaii over the years and know the costs. That said, ANS is likely your best bet. they are in SoCal so its as close as you can get. I've had good luck in the past when ordering from them, and if you do get broken paint they are pretty good about crediting you on the next order. the toss-up is the paint quality itself. lately I've had good luck with graffiti - its a more durable not as thin shelled ball and it tends to store well, so i'd spend the extra $$$ for the good stuff.

Thanks for the input! Maybe I'll send them a message and see if I can work on shipping a little bit. Mahalo

I have a similar problem getting paint for my outlaw field. Ans is horrible, paint is always broken and they won't replace or refund broken paint anymore. I was also using east coast paintball supply thinking traveling a shorter distance would result in less broken paint but that's not the case. At leaset they will replace it. Fedex and ups is just way to hard on paintballs. Really the best for me is amazon. The only option is graffiti but Shipping is fast, it's never broken, and if it was its easy to get a refund/replacement.

I’ve always purchased these from WalMart for outlaw games in the woods. They ship from the factory, not Walmart’s warehouse, and typically arrive well packed and are fresh. Of course because they’re bouncing around in a delivery van (or in your case an airliner) I always have to check the bags for broken paint, but it’s the most economical way I’ve found to get good paint. These are typically in a nice round shape, have small seams, and shoot quite well. Shells are a little hard, but because my loaners are blowbacks and we play in the woods, that’s not a disadvantage. they aren’t rock hard like Monster Balls.

I’ve not had good luck purchasing decent affordable paint from ANSgear - it’s the only thing I’ve really had an issue with from them. They seem packed well, but the paint never shoots nicely or it was crap paint BEFORE it was put on a shelf, then a truck, then thrown on my doorstep.

The shipping label’s return address 🥸
I took a chance on a few boxes and was pleasantly surprised. IIRC they were shipped from Ft Wayne, IN which is the home base for Kore Outdoor:

There is a Big Island Hawaii Paintball group on FB. Recommend you hit up the players there for questions. Sorry, I'm on Oahu, so I just buy paint from the field.

Open to all paintball players on the island of Hawaii. Buy, sell, trade Videos Events.
