ID:	652219 Looking to spice things up with a little explosive CO2 as a seasoning to our yearly friends PB outing at a buddy’s back 40 acres.

I want to incorporate these sound grenades into a scenario game, but how dangerous are these b*st*rds exactly?

Any tips/recommendations or cautionary tales welcome

As always, thanks in advance, fellas!

I'd say they are "fairly" safe but also not. When you throw them they may or may not explode on impact. I've been in a attack defend situation where we were holding a castle, and one of these bounced I to the castle. There was a barrage if smokes also coming in, so we were tossing everything back as we fought. But one of these came in, and it was still filling with pressure to blow. It was letting a little vapor off, and sizzling as the co2 expanded inside. A guy next to me picked it up and went to toss it. It ruptured inches from his open hand after release. We are all convinced that it would damage someone's hand pretty bad if you happened to be gripping it at the time of explosion.

Kinda like a black cat firework. You can light them in the palm of your open hand, and it's no big deal, but I've never attempted to clutch one.

This sort of thing should not be allowed, period. Even at a mild risk of injury it's not worth it. There's too many variables that can not be controlled.
