Made a boo- boo yesterday

I did not go in for stitches... so I saved myself from that..old school here and just wrapped it up tight....hoping for the best...

Yikes. I'm definitely too much of a wuss to truck through something like that without professional assistance.

Not that I really want to know but... how do you know there is no bone missing if you didn't get it scanned or something? Was it the brass that split your hand or the saw blade itself? How didn't the saw take out bone?

Is it rude to ask to see it? Blame the terrorists (and budd dwyer) but its really hard for me to get queasy over stuff like that now. The only part that i never got over is the noises the people make. Moans, groans, screams, cries, death noises etc. Anyone remember 1 guy 1 jar and the bme pain olympics?

Ouch. I nicked my thumb on a table saw and wouldn't wish that (or more, in your case) on anyone.

Pro tip - a fresh tube of axle grease is a good way to keep things sealed and soft on the way to the surgeon (as a plastic surgeon once told me). I'm guessing it's important to choose the right grease, though, and not one of these new fluoridated things.
