CNC Machinists jobs that I thought some MCBers might like

Admins---let me know if this isn't okay to post, but is absolutely 100% legit. I thought someone here might be interested, and I place people into jobs for a living. Several people here already know that, but thought this was a cool opportunity that people might be up for!


Going to have some openings for CNC Machinists and Programmers working on sending people to space in the Kent, WA area! Anyone out there interested! Really cool project!! Working on making parts for rockets. Let me know if someone might be interested.

What’s the pay range and will they cover relocation?

They don't cover re-lo. It's Blue Origin, and looking at 46.67 to 48.73 depending on shifts. Contract is for 6 months, but very likely to convert/extend.

Man, Kent is a trek from where I'm at but I've been toying with applying to Blue for some time. I've heard good things

I was just talking to my coworker about working for Blue.

They apparently have the ultimate golden carrot to keep you going. You get shares in the company stock yearly, but each individual share installment has a 5 year vesting schedule, so you can never quit without walking away from a pile of money.

His best friend ( engineer) just left blue as he stated the work life balance is off of the scales. He walked away from roughly 300k of vested stocks.

That all being said, my last employer was Par whom designed the stir welders that Blue uses. PaR lost 5 employees to Blue just in my time there. Each and every one of them worked on-site at Blue as a Par employee. They were all eventually offered enough to quit at Par, and move to Florida.

I'm willing to bet at a machinist level, it would be a great place to be.

We also have some assembly positions there if you have experience with aircraft/aero/vehicle assembly or fab. They like people with hydraulics, electrical, assembly, and/or testing experience, and usually ask for experience with precision calipers and torque wrenches.
