Is anyone else excited for Universal's Epic Universe?

    I am super stoked.
I have been watching the progress of this new park since it was first announced.

I'm sure my friends wife will try and use this to convince me "I need to go to Disney/universal once in my life...." To which I will always reply "I'll die never going to either"

Hi welcome to the waiting in line simulator. Would you like a $9 water? I’m with you Hard No! The amount you pay to go to these things you can travel to so many cool places. The last place on my list would be an over priced amusement park.

My childhood best friend works for both disneyworld (full time) and universal studios (seasonally), he says it’s amazing. He went every day for several weeks during the employee private open or whatever it was.

I'm sort of in the same bucket. Kiddo is 3, so it will be several years before she's tall enough to justify a trip to Epic Universe, or any of the Universal Parks, for that matter.

We're actually heading off to Disney tomorrow morning, and if I put her chunky shoes on her she might be tall enough to ride her first coaster!

That being said, has anyone read some of the rumors about the new Harry Potter ride having some serious teething issues? I read somewhere that they're having all kinds of violent E-stops during the team preview days, and one guy who says a control arm actually forced a ride vehicle into the floor during a malfunction.
