I really don’t think the Hulkster is smart enough to maintain and operate a paintball gun. He probably remembers a time when he beat the 1200lb Andre the Giant in capture the flag by choke slamming him so hard he bounced out of bounds I just don’t think it happened.
"Often"? I'm not sure I've ever once seen it depicted properly.
True facts, DocsMachine. About the closest I've ever seen to "proper" was this one Jason film from the 80s ( I believe you have it on your "paintball in the movies" section) and while it was mostly period-correct (only depiction I've seen where shop goggles as eye-pro even vaguely made sense), it still had inaccuracies. And that was a throw-away scene in a late-sequel slasher film.
I tell ya...paintball has been done dirty by Hollywood, and that is for certain and for sure.
To be fair, nobody's really made a movie about paintball. Most of them are movies, like Friday the Thirteenth, that involve paintball, but aren't about it.
It's like expecting a realistic in-town chase scene in Fast & Furious or a realistic shootout in John Wick.
Or maybe more like expecting realistic police work in a Naked Gun movie.
