Last winter my basement flooded a couple of times. I saved most everything in all night sessions moving stuff around but I forgot where I had my very first two Viewloaders stashed. One is a 9 volt I bought circa 1995 and the 12 volt not long after. Both show signs of having sat in water a while, but of them powered right up and worked. I like the picture of the inside... that's the 9 volt after cleaning. Man I shot a *lot* of paintballs through this hopper to make the wear marks like that. Much more reliable than the cracked up Reloader B that's on the workbench as well, waiting for parts to replace the crummy plastic.
Old Viewloaders are bulletproof...

I've got three sitting on a shelf, they're fantastic hoppers.
I like my Vmax and Rotor a bit better because they'll keep a ball in the breech when I'm running - I've missed some eliminations when the paint left the feedneck during a mad dash - but otherwise, love 'em.Comment

They were great for what they were imo. Now days I would rather run a gravity, rotor, spire, or pal. That 90s plastic though, as good as the 90s car paint. Everything break easy now, I heard it is due to volume production and the best chemis being outlawed.Comment

xboard and jmj impellers in my 3 units! perfect loaner hoppers! nice and lightweight! ive heard great things about the 9v version on pumpsComment

They're great on open class pumps the few times you use the auto trigger. I bought it for my first gun, a VM-68 and it's fine for that but for a powerfeed Automag I bought the 12v. Used that combination for years too.
I was wondering about the old plastic and if the new shell kits were the same?Comment

I have a revolution that's pushing at least 30 years old at this point.... Original lid even because it has the remnants of a cartman sticker that was given out in a magazine to promote the first season of South Park.
Past that jmj impeller and sunlight board. It keeps up with nxl 10.5Comment
