It is one thing the Navy taught me. I rarely swore before I joined the Navy and by the time I left I would say things like "pass the f**king salt" as part of normal conversation. Drinking and swearing are definitely sailor traits, always was a tough shift when I'd get back from patrol and then be with my family.....

I understand that the Spanish (as in Spain, not latinos in general) have a fine tradition of creative and brutally offensive cussing.
