Ok, I just need to unscrew this fill nipple (on a full 68/4500 tank), a little bit to slip the fill cap lanyard washer under the base, just unscrew it a little bit and ...."POW!".., I felt the fill nipple shoot past my ear and imbed itself in the ceiling, while the tank emptied itself out of the hole that now had mostly stripped threads. What the heck was I thinking?

This was in your much younger years right. The years where we think we can do everything easy way and nothing will go wrong.

I once had a series of ball breaks in my tippmann A5 at an outlaw game.. I pulled the hopper off and put the barrel to the palm of my hand to blast air into the barrel ports. Unbeknownst to me, the cyclone feed ensured my clearing shot was a point blank palm shot that I self administered.

I also smoked as a teenager. one day I was wrenching on my BMX bike with a lit cigarette in my mouth. I slipped it behind my ear to get it our of my mouth.. then quickly slapped it to the ground.

In 1994 I was in a program in my highschool called computer maintenance. It was awesome. It was a 3 hour class that lasted before, through, and after lunch. Some how it was full of my very small friend group and 2 other dudes. The class was pretty much everything about computers from principles of operation, to troubleshooting, building.... it was a awesome class. We got to learn electronics while there. Best class ever. We had another teacher bring in her personal computer to be built. Think 486 computer with a 3.5" floppy drive because who on earth would still use a 5.25" floppy when the 3.5"drives were the hot thing. I dont remember all of the specifics of the machine except one. She had a 500 MB hard drive. I had never even heard of such a large drive before, let alone seen one in the flesh. Our teacher selected the students who would build it and they set to work, unfortunately, I was not one of the selected. Step one.... hook yourself up to the anti-static work station. Both of my buddies did. Everything was going fine until the bright flash and the smell of ozone. Then another flash.... and another.... and another.... then. Hey Dave...check this out. I turn to see my friend Chris with an esd strap on his wrist, a powered up computer with the case off exposing all of the internal components, and a frayed cable in his hand that he continually touches up against the case of the hard drive creating this massive arc flash. Over and over again. He was laughing his ass off because he had no idea that he was destroying the hard drive with each and every arc. The teacher who had an office in the room comes in to see the commotion and almost feints.

In the end, the hard drive was toast. I dont know if any of yall appreciate how much a 500$ computer component was actually worth in 1994 but for a teacher to be spending that much money on it was ridiculous. The total of her build was a bit over 1500 dollars in 1994. The school took care of her, Chris was not allowed to play with customers PCs any longer and I will never forget the look in everyones faces when the first bright light lit the classroom. It was a glorious moment of brain fart. I asked Chris was the hell he was thinking. He said he was wearing the esd strap and didnt think it was doing anything. LMAO!!!!!!

Do hard things for fun. Being soft is for sissies. Being an asshole is easy, thats why everyone is one. Being stand up us hard. Be a hard bastard but be respectful.
