Anyone in Worcester MA, Recomendaions for food and parking

I just got my son tickets to see Ice Nine Kills and Dayseeker at the DCU Center on Sept 13th. It's his first metal show ever and he's super excited even though its a little ways out.

Show starts at 6m we're traveling from Albany, and I want to get there early to get parking and food.

I've never been to the area so what's good to eat? and where to park?

Any recommendations are appreciated

El Patron has awesome Mexican food. I'd recommend that if your into Mexican. There is a lot of parking in that area of downtown as well. You'll find a lot of options just Google DCU center parking beforehand.

It's been a while since I went there but the DCU should have easy enough parking it's not Boston or Gillette. What kind of food are you guys into? The Fix is a cool little burger bar in Worcester, I feel like that pleases most. If you want seafood the Red crab rips

If you can find parking outside of the DCU Center you're better off...getting out of the DCU parking garage can take hours sometimes. If you want to get a hotel there's the Hometown Suites by Hilton Worcester that is just around the corner from it.
Armsby Abbey is a great place to eat too

If you like bbq you can go to BTs in Sturbridge. It’s the exit before Worcester on the Mass Pike.

OpusX I'll probably call it exit 9 for the rest of my life. I take the mass pike everyday going to work and I couldn't tell you what the new exit numbers that I use are. And for those of you that don't know "new" is 4 years ago.

2nd for bt. Rt20 sturbridge exit. They had a secondary place a couple miles from the dcu center but had to close because too many Worcester maniacs were driving through the front of the building.

I was gonna suggest pepes but Vernon is the closest and it's pretty far out if his way.
Willington house of pizza #2 is much closer and is outstanding pizza.
