I never asked, you got the slide trigger on that?

Much like the halo B back in the day the Ltrs just don't agree with me. I liked my old pinokio but when that died I switched to a Valken vsl switch I got on here from a member.

My buddy has an awesome tricked out Emek but I figured I'd treat myself to the 3M

Right? I would love to see how 90s era paint would shoot out of a space mech

We live in interesting paintball times: we finally have the reliable and high-performing gear we wanted 30 years ago, but with crappy paint all around.

Absolutely, I love the slide frame. The hinge triggers are undoubtedly faster, but the slide just has so much more nostalgia in the trigger pull.

that sliding trigger is so good!
I've got a spare new style as well, and the hinge trigger is also good. I love it because I can toss either of them at anyone who needs something to shoot, and they just work every single time.

Emek is the best marker to ever have been created. Hands down, isnt even close.

100% agree. While I'll still use my cockers as much as I can, my AMP will most likely be the workhorse. The amount I'm going to spend on ano alone for all these projects is deterrent enough to keep them from getting beat up LOL

Right now they have the new mech Shocker ERA for $599 with the turbo/upgraded valve, just FYI!

And yes...you could say it's an amazing coincidence how similar those powertrains are LOL

It's for reasons like this that I've gone all-in on modern gear. My fully upgraded Emek and 180R have pretty much replaced my Mags and Cockers as my go-to picks for walk-on play and events. The stuff being made today is just that good. Nostalgia still has its place, but I just can't argue with the performance and reliability of modern spool valve designs.

I still prefer my modified emek over the latest and greatest space mechs.

Swap that trigger spring out for a pen spring and let her rip taderchip!

If you are chopping swap that control out for a LTR rotor. Mine dont chop or break paint even when you hammer on it with the speed mods I got.

I definitely think that the Emek is a lot of value for the $. The Etha 3M is especially a great deal, with the adjustable trigger, the feedneck, the slimmer profile, the POPS asa and the Shaft barrel. The shot quality is nigh high-end, at a fraction of the price, all the while being super reliable.

I found a mint, barely used 3M (at an insanely good price) for a friend that wanted a little more than his A-5. He now swears by it. He never feels outclassed anywhere he goes.

The Shocker AMP uses a bolt system that was, ah, greatly inspired by the Gamma Core. You should see s fair amount of similarity in shot quality.

I was also on the lookout for the Shocker cvo but they're harder to come by. I know I won't use the Electro frame though I like the idea
Working...
