Gold plated sniper 1, no serial number. Has more modern pieces to it... which I find odd, but still cool. You would like to think something like this would pop up and end back up in the right hands, but then again Camille never did either.

The thing about Camille is that people- Glenn included- presume a player took it. Glenn has said for years that he was all but certain that... what was it, somebody from Worr took it, to hinder any potential trademark/patent issues? Man, it's been so long I can't even recall.

What's far more likely is that it was just some thug trolling hotel parking lots looking for an easy score. Camille was in a case that looked like it could hold a gun, smash, grab, run.

Crook gets to some place where he can check his score, eventually realizes it's a beat-up old paintball gun, and thus not worth anything, and tossed it into the nearest dumpster.

Unless this case is a genuine innocent shipping snafu- and I hope it is- I'd wager we're looking at a similar sort of situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if a UPS employee took it thinking it was a gun. All they had to do was open it up and say it was "damaged".
