Just finished handing out oodles of giant bars to all the kids. I've always wanted to be "that" house. I have become "that" house. Even the Dad's were saying they heard the stories. Cigars and Nips for the adults too. I only put out a couple pumpkins for decorations and nothing crazy on that end. Just go overboard for the kids and making sure the neighborhood has their sugar pusher pumping out the extra candy on Halloween.

I would love to be that house some day but currently we're the house that sets a bucket out for teenagers to steal within 45 minutes while we walk our little ones around. Surprisingly it's the first year that it has happened since we started leaving the bucket out, but yea we aren't chancing that with big bars. We have a couple more years of that. Although my wife is pretty upset and i'm not sure if it's because candy is expensive or that we don't have any leftovers this year lol

That's the good stuff. We're fortunate enough that a few neighbors are like that. One of them goes all out with the decorations (projectors, motion activated stuff, one of those leaping witches...) and is cool enough to keep the jump scare stuff turned off until after 7, so the littles aren't too afraid to approach when they head out at 6pm. Hands out the full size stuff as well. It's these kinds of experiences that really hold a neighborhood together.

I literally live in cabin in the woods and do not get any trick or treaters. I would honestly be surprised to hear a knock on my door halloween night lol.

I ended up going out and hit up a couple of the local dive bars and this year I was smarter, I ate before I left and ate half a pizza mid session, so I didn't puke last night and had to take it slow nursing my hangover this morning, but good to go for the rest of the weekend.
