Retell some weird stuff that's happened

this was weird and rude to happen. i was called up front to help for bit. when went around to back of check out line a to pick up baskets. lady in one of line had her water break. she left it all over floor. bad part she did not tell know at all. that was rude part since so much water on ground and some could fell down. and you could also smell it. that was not only time it happen. had happen two other times. but when it happen someone told us what happen. i also had it happen in front of deii/bakery too. this time lady said something and it was time i was help out one night to help clean place up day before company came in to do inspection on deli/bakery,

I was once at a pub with friends. A guy walks in and put a living Cayman on the freakin' bar. The bartender was not happy and ran away from it. I live in Vancouver, BC so the Pacific Northwest. The guy must be carrying the damn things around in his vehicle!

After much thought, I have a better one.

About ten years ago I was shopping at Target when I received a text from my roommate. Haha, it was a picture of me browsing through the racks. Very funny. I looked around. He wasn't there. I checked the picture again--it wasn't Target. This person looked so much like me that I, myself, mistook this person's identity for my own.

You may have heard the myth of the doppelgänger, the concept that seeing a non-related copy/twin of oneself or an acquaintance bodes ill omen for the original. That night, a few hours later after the spotting, was THE worst night of my life, bar none, for reasons I don't care to discuss. It was also one my most formative incidents, in many ways responsible for landing me where I am today.

Thinking little of it at the time, I must have deleted the photo since I couldn't find it later. Adding another twist, I bear more than a casual resemblance to Edward Snowden (the greatest difference being that his nose is sharp while mine is rounded) and was similarly lanky at the time. This was a few years before he absconded for Taiwan, but since 2013 I've always wondered of the remote possibility that this doppelgänger (spotted in the DC area) could have been him.

My wife and another lady who both share a very similar name, and totally could be sisters, often get confused for each other. It was a bit surreal. We would go to places and they would call my wife the "other name" and look at me a bit funny. Long story short, while my son was working at a restaurant nearby he even came home commenting about this lady that looked just like mom. We eventually meet her, the resemblance is uncanny. She also mentioned how people would call her my wife's name and look at her husband funny.
