    Gift ideas for the kiddos

Man, kids have it so good today toys wise. What are you all getting the kiddos? I got a nice pile going already. I was impressed with the ML Gamerverse Gargantos and now this figure (for a 6 yo girl): maybe this will be a gift idea for someone else’s little girl:

people are selling these for $100+ on ebay, even though you can buy directly from Mattel for $60

About a month ago I got the Lego Arctic explorer ship for my niece and nephew:

For Christmas I’m planning to get them the Arctic explorer train:

I was looking at pirate ships in the $100-150 tier — but they’re so much smaller than I remember. Terrible value. And the big (off brand) pirate ships on Amazon seem to have really good reviews. I was going to take my chances with one. For $150 you get the big pirate ships Lego sells for $400+

But this one looks great too. I’m considering it

Building a work bench for my 1 year old boy. With a vise and a hand cranked grinder. Peg board on the back to store all his crayons n stuff. Also got him a little battery drill and big wooden bolts/nuts to screw together

Maisto 65 Vette. They killed it. For $40. It looks more expensive.

I already got em a few educational books. But if you have any good books for kids under 7, please let me know.

Actually, I was looking for a Christmas book I had as a kid in the early 90’s. It had photographs of Santa, and the elves working in toy factories and it showed huge warehouses full of toys, everything was handcrafted, wooden furniture, wooden toys, etc. I was very fond of it. They were real photos of people and the factory was huge, full of wooden toys.

I’ve tried looking for it online —but no luck finding it. This is a long shot, but i dont suppose anyone here knows what book I’m talking about?

My daughter is young but it's fun buying my nephews stuff. Just bought my nephew this Penny board and I'm doing a custom Spiderman paint job for him. I showed him some skateboard tricks and he's obsessed!

I asked my wife if we should get the Princess of Power for our 6 year old. She said, she is getting other things but get that for me! Lol. She was joking but nice heads up on the gift ideas.

Lol …I dont blame her one bit, it’s bad ass.

I feel like that about the Marvel vs Capcom Gamerverse figures. I want to put the Gargantos fighting something on top of a MvC2 arcade cabinet

And of course the 1:18 cars. I fell in love with the 65 Corvette already.

I like buy board games to play play. Started with co-op. Mole Rats in Space is a fun co-op snakes and ladders that is strategic. This year I pulled the trigger on Heroes Quest which was big when I was a kid.

Nice. That sounds like a fun time. I got them
Illiterati. Have you played it? It’s supposed to be good. I saw it recommended on multiple YT board game reviews.

My kid is grown now but we went to a birthday party for some friends kids and got them a set of Spiderman Walkie Talkies. They were the hit of the party.
