    USPS, package interception.

Is it possible to have a package stop at a center/office and then be picked up by its intended receiver?

My situation is a package in tge Chicago Indy death loop, its bounced off each center multiple times now.

I've had this happen to me as the recipient, for me it just solved itself after a while. I hope your package is freed from hell soon.

Holiday mail and such. I had package arrive late, one 2 and another 5 days late.

earlier in the year I did have package go missing. Almost 6 weeks later it was returned to me after request to return to me.

One of my first jobs in my teens was working in high tech warehouse. Company and warehouse was in business area that most companies were high tech. The type of companies that that you can have tubes in your hand that held chips, parts worth 200k to 2mil.

UPS and FedEx were targeted. They would either jack them at their next stop or run them off the road.

i missed my delivery 2 days in a row. the carriers are too scared to come up my driveway when there is a hint of snow. yesterday, i followed a USPS van after it passed me pulling off my street. at her next stop, i asked if she had my box in there, with my tracking pulled up on my fone with all the info.
she was extremely helpful. did not have my package but knew her coworker who did. she called her and asked where she was on her route. she was finished and i was able to meet her at the post office and pick up in person. hopefully your local delivery people are as friendly!

As a midwest guy that has to deal with a lot of "where is it" inquiries, "Indy death loop" really hits home. That said it does seem to eject packages from its orbit. Eventually. Sometimes in the wrong direction. But moving > lost

                  Good luck

The receiver can register for "Informed Delivery," and once that is set up, they can have the package held at PO for pickup.

You can reach out to the postal service to have them hold it at a location for you and provide who you want picking it up, but it's a bureaucratic process.

I appreciate the responses, very fortunately Velcor must've intervened and my package was delivered safe and sound.

i will definitely be remembering about the responses and if needed doen the road putting them to use.
