Found this in my backyard today, I threw it into the snow on Tuesday and thought that it broke, clearly it did not.
What's the largest paintball you've seen?

Back when I first got into paintball, I put one in a clear plastic cup full of water and left it alone. It eventually got to bigger than a golf ball, though by that time the shell was translucent and the fill looked like the yolk of an egg at the bottom of it.
I also let one soak 'til it was maybe a bit bigger than an inch, then dumped out the water and left it to dry. It turns into a paintball raisin.

There was that time that Bob Long secretly had custom paintballs made, much larger then .68, because the rules at the time did not specifically state calibersComment

Big ball was average size. Dynasty ball was like .690 and heavy. They shoot further and better. Its really the weight or mass that matters most besides in closed bolt guns with fixed bores.
More mass at the same velocity means more momentum means longer distance traveled before air slows it down. More energy needed to move it up to 290fps or whatever field velocity is.
Also playing at tournament velocity 300fps was another game too.Comment

Were lazerballs paint or some sort of reusable round? I’m talking about the Brass Eagle Stingray kind. I think they were .75 cal.Comment
