- Call my friends and family more. Texting and social media are overrated (I dropped all social media last year).
- Be intentional with my time. That means less time on the internet and more time outdoors.
- Less drugs and alcohol. 2025 was really good to me and I want to keep that going.
- Travel less for work. I set my schedule but over do it sometimes.
- Bake more bread and sweet treats for me and the neighbors. Community is important to me.
- More live music than last year.
- Walk the west highland way in Scotland with my sister. She lives in Glasgow and I don’t see her often.
- Put plans into motion to (1) move back to Europe and (2) invest in a retirement property, possibly with my sister.

Personal things: Drop about 30lbs, drink more water and less caffeine/soda and (this one may sound dumb) start putting myself out there more to meet new friends and people in general. I honestly have a hard time making friends with people outside of paintball and trap shoots.
Paintball related: Play more pump now that I have my build finished and play more rec ball/big games with my little cousin now that he's playing.

Going into the new year I don’t necessarily have specific resolutions, but the idea of 2026 is going to be to apply pressure.
I’ve laid the groundwork and now it’s time to force the results.
Health:
- Gym consistency
- Alcohol moderation
- Social Media moderation
- Diet
- At least one 5k
- Floss more regularly
Work:
- Establish my rights the highest position.
- Get back closer to home, ASAP.
- Break into the world of real estate.
- Save Money
Fun/Extra Curricular:
- Continue to Hike
- Continue to Create (art, etc)
- Camp
- Skate. (Specifically, Ollie up a curb in motion)
- Try to find new social circles. (Leagues, clubs, etc)
- Read
- Shoot
Other:
- Be on time. (Not sure when I lost this, but im never on time.)
- Continue Duolingo (day 320 now)
- Nightly to-do list. (Help stay organized)
Paintball Specific:
- Continue to sell
- Turn “Totally Clips of the Heart” into a reality(magfed game)
- Play at a new field
- Host Pump up the Ridge III & Pistols Only
- Continue to solidify my gear load outs.
- Host the new 2026 MOTM.
- Play at a new field
- Have the lightest mag
- Maybe, maybe, tackle a new build.

I'm not much of a "resolution" guy, as I try to take on challenges as they come, but two are front of mind and a year is as good a timeline as any:
I want to compete at 168 in a BJJ tournament. Novice class as I've only been "back" for about 4 months after a decade hiatus (and was a novice when I stopped, too), but doing a weigh-in at 168 in a gi would mean 5-10lbs dropped, and I'm thinking I'll need some cardio/ weight training before that too.
I have a cool valve idea I've been working on, got it "working", but the thing put a reball through my wall so it needs some fine tuning. I'd love to finish it up this year.
Jeff Manion wrote a book - "Dream Big, Think Small" - that describes an approach I like better than one big resolution. Instead, it's focusing on making small, wise decisions with forethought, daily, and allowing the compounding effect to eventually create a grand result. (Not too different from Henry Hazlitt, a century earlier.) It's more important to say "I'll hit the gym tonight even though it's Friday and I'm feeling sluggish", than say "I'll win a tournament." And man... those Friday night sessions have had some good stuff that I'm sure will come in handy at an eventual tournament.Feedback

I have poor success with "resolutions", in large part because I have so many calls to my attention. Last year wasn't too bad, but I went off the rails by summertime.
This year, I have two... well, not 'resolutions', they're merely goals. The first is to simply do better this year, and the other is to try to end said year with at least a little more money in the bank than it started with.

My main goal this year is to stop buying video games that I'm not going to immediately play. My backlog is huge, and is only getting bigger instead of shrinking. I need to be better about playing stuff I already have.Comment

For myself,- Get back into shape. Like to loss 30 pounds, work on cardio as well.
- Use time better. I find im spending to much time sitting doing nothing.
- Get some projects done that have already taken far to long
- Keep spending in check, buy less
- Get rid of some stuff I'm not using.
- Remember that Riot's truck isn't for parts disposal
- Play atleast one random walkon day. Been over a decade since I've done that.

Ditto! Waffled far too much in 2025.I have poor success with "resolutions", in large part because I have so many calls to my attention. Last year wasn't too bad, but I went off the rails by summertime.
