    Basement nerf layout ideas

Ill be hanging curtains to create simple, 2d, removable "bunkers". Then remove the curtains when im not playing nerf. Area is 44 feet by 13 feet. Help me come up with some cool layouts?

this is awesome. it reminds me of high school. i was a basement baby and would mod nerf guns to leave welts and blavk eyes and have battles in the basement when the boys were over.

Luv it. I would allow shots from one end to the other by not hanging anything, more like an inflatable field.

What about weighted tarps hung, or even PVC pipe with some tarps wrap over them. You could make different shapes and designs pretty easily.

Chuck E Ducky ive used self supporting pvc structures before. They are quite bulky to store in comparison to a curtain that can be rolled up

Yeah I think in that case hanging some sort of cheap material is the way to go. Might be able. To use some magnets to keep them steady and add weight.

maybe cut a few of the curtains into a U shape so there is low, crouch down/crawl cover but the cross room shots are still possible. You could experimet with the shapes, maybe a hangng "8" would be interesting?

It would be cool to use some camo fabric, maybe some camo hunting blind netting.
That way, easy to resell OR use for some outdoor paintball!

for layouts, even though its my least favorite for paintball, i think an attack/defend would work well.
A fort on one end and more sparse cover leading up to it for the attackers.

another one i think would work well is a "labyrinth" layout. tons of tight corners, twist and turns. definitely more labor intensive and intricate. nobody wants to get shot by a paintball that close, but i think it would work well for nerf.

Labor intensive for sure. But its still a great idea! As time goes on and i accumulate more cutains, this could be a super fun CQB idea

you can also hang the curtains with a curve in them, so you could create something like this (dash for half-height/cutout)

How about a snake made from chairs with a sheet over it? Also could add a center bunker with a buzzer or a flag to end the game.

This is JeeperCreeper s idea put into the model. Looks fun! Will definitely keep it in mind! good suggestion, man

Sorry, didnt have mini chairs to put in the model so the snake is kind of a "straight shot" but i get the idea

Skip the nerf. Go full Dexter in there. Then add a few inflatable bunkers and make a nasty snap shooting ally. Let the kids play nerf outside. Daddy is busy in the basement again.

Every time i see inflatable bunkers on fb marletplace, im always tempted

But yeah, full auto nerf rivals would be pretty sick. Or at least something with large capacity. I dont expect these nerf matches to go for more than 1 or 2 minutes in this small area. Nobody gonna have time to reload

That is awesome looking place, very jealous. Some of the curtains I would place windows big enough for them to shoot and take a chance of getting shot. No blind shooting.
