Custom Products - still in business?

They used to have rebuild kits on their site. I was watching to see if they get restocked. Now the website isn’t pulling up.

Does anyone know if they are stopping productions? Closing the doors?

    thanks

Man, that's too bad. I love their regs (tank and inline) - but the problem is, they last forever. And now that everyone has a proprietary ASA and regulator, I'm sure it's not great for business.

It's the hard thing about a maturing industry. Less room for mod shops because things show up optimized/ integrated.

They are supposedly closing the paintball side. I tried to become a dealer in November to carry regs and on/offs in my store. They didn't have any complete regs available... I also planned to order a significant amount and didn't have enough to complete my order that were anodized nor planned to send them to ano.

That sucks, but i get it. Hard to sustain a company targeting one of the relatively smallest merch markets on earth. I'll miss their barrels, the one-piece classics were among my faves.

It wasn't their main business. They are doing aerospace stuff. It just doesn't make sense for them to stock inventory and tie up machines when other stuff makes more money.

Bummer, end of an era. The cp one piece is a phenomenal barrel. The other products were top notch. I guess it was a matter of time with most markers being integrated top tier parts. Would be cool if they released a bunch of rebuild kits. Anyone know of reg seats that work for them?

It's genuinely upsetting to hear they're closing up shop. Their one piece barrels are mythical in Tippmann circles. Just threw an NOS combat classic on my Pro Carbine, timely.

ANS still has their classic and advantage barrels in stock. may pick up a couple. A CP Barrel with my lapco bore sizer has been my go to combo for awhile now.

I feel like a good amount will be floating around in the secondary market for years to come. They seem to last and I think CP sold a boat load of em over the years.

That's a real shame they had awesome quality for super reasonable prices..Their on/offs are my favorites and I always keep a few of their regs handy. I didn't play for 10+ years until I threw a pump kit on my old reflex and tried old regs without rebuilding. The dye and wgp sadly leaked, but the cp did not, and performed great on old dry orings.

While I see the benefits of the industry going macrolineless, I think removing a lot of the customizablility and individuality between people's markers takes some of the charm or soul out of things. A lot of the enjoyment of the hobby for me took place in online forums; building, tinkering and not just on the field.

They made and successfully sold so much stuff, that I imagine it'll be readily available for at least a decade, and won't really appreciate. Maybe get what you need, and don't worry about it beyond that.
