I actually prefer black coffee but my stomach says otherwise. My beer I prefer coffee infused. My favorite is JoMama‘s Milk by Keegan Ale. It’s brewed with coffee extracts. Smooth Dark and Strong with a lil caffeine kick. Stuff sneaks up on yah quick just don’t try to drink them and go to bed.
I've maybe consumed one pot's worth of coffee total over the last 20 years. I don't drink a ton of soda (or other forms of caffeine) either. The stuff is like smoking- just don't start & you won't need the stuff every day.
As much as I like coffee, 1) I can go without it for a long as I please, and 2) tea is my real weakness. I drink probably two gallons a week. It's easy enough to boil up a couple gallons and throw 'em in the fridge.
I love all kind of coffee.
unfortunately a user error last week resulted in 2nd degree burn on my hand after flipping my aeropress and the container emptying on it.
i never drank coffee till i had kids. (and a full time career).
and like most things, once i got into it, i went HAM.
it went from k-cups, to drip, to french press, to espresso.
im now hooked on french press. I have a single serving press here at work and bring in my own grinds. Ive tried to go back to k-cups but i cant. they taste awful to me.
But at the same time, i can go a long time without coffee. i dont even drink it in the morning. i drink it at 2 or 3 pm before i leave work and go home to the boys...
From where you're at, the Nespresso is the way to go. The only k-cup I have enjoyed is the...and it pains me to plug this brand... Starbucks Sumatra k-cups. Cheap, too, at $.65/pod but a PITA to separate for recycling.
I have to drink a metric ton of coffee to get any kind of buzz. I did that exactly once just to see what everyone was talking about, and yeah, turns out I do apparently have some kind of resistance because it takes something like six cups of ordinary drip in rapid succession to produce an effect, and it's not especially pleasant
I mean... yeah. I've drank coffee regularly since age 9 or something ridiculous like that, and if I over do it on the caffeine it can ruin my entire day. I honestly drink it for comfort. It's warmth in the cold morning, it's familiar, and it's part of my routine. A good tea is great, too, but harder for me to find on a regular basis.
