They going to Remove it after?
they still owing you 6700 after their initial check.
That a high price if it real, my mechanic was offering 100 a month.

Tell them you require energy drink cans on top of the deal! :P

I'm trying to understand their logic on this one? Given your location and the population in that area, this seems like a scam to me.
The reason companies pay for wrapping vehicles is exposure, the vehicle becomes a moving billboard for thousands to see everyday as you commute in big cities.
My wife wraps vehicles as part of her business. It is a labor intensive job, she doesn't like doing full wraps because it takes her away from every other job in the cue.
Make sure you ask about removal cost as mentioned above.
I'm interested in hearing what you do with this.

Just contacted monster energy drink.com to find out if it's a scam or to good to be true.
          hope they answer me back.
the check was for one week paid at 800.00 and the remainder to the wrap installer.
eight hundred a week to be paid to me bi-weekly for the next three months.
and yes, they are also to remove it after the three month period.

There was a Red Bull mini that used to drive around my college town, but I think it was specifically there direct from Redbull. I've heard of people getting paid to do wraps but it was never that high. Sorry Walz.

I had a similar scam when I was selling something a few years ago. The guy had his assistant "accidentally" send a check for $2200 instead of $200. Expected me to cash it and then refund his the difference.... By the time the check bounces you end up paying them and then the bank pulls the money from your account. Its why I now refuse any other payment except paypal. Scammers are too clever nowadays.

It's kind of like those car warranty calls. "Sir, the warranty on your car is about to expire, and...!"

"You mean the warranty on my 1972 Oldsmobile?"

Was there a contract before getting this "check"? All the advertising I'd been involved in had some sort of contract involved, even the for the smallest thing.

There was a period of time some years back that a group of companies paid some "hoopty" owners to wrap their vehicles in various logo and branding. In particular I specifically remember a Kelloggs car and knew the guy that owned a Monte Carlo wrapped from Coca Cola.
They paid him a residual for a while under certain circumstances, much of which that the car was looking and running 110%. Some years later it had fallen into a state of disrepair. Whomever had sponsored the doing so payments had long stopped, and Coke themselves sent him a letter requesting that the wrap be removed or (whatever else) for it not to be representing product.
