USPS Shipping prices! WTF?

So I found out Rural postage went up about 1.50-2.00 for a 4oz package .. Shipping to the boonies is gonna cost you big time..

Another vote for Pirateship... recommend you also "test rates" at different weights before printing label, USPS doesn't care if your package weighs less than the label says

Not so --- there have been reports of people being charged for this. I've read that their system does random audit

You should still TRY a higher weight if it'll save you money --- I have --- but you may wind up paying the higher rate.

I've been slapped with adjustments a handful of times but if you ship a lot the frequency of that event are so negligible and if it's close enough they don't bother. Pirateship will also sometimes negotiate the fee with the shipper to negate it

Prices are up across the board even with Pirateship. Even small padded envelopes under 5 oz are like $6-7 to ship now 😵

I think what's crazier is how companies not focused on shipping are trying to fuck people.

Ebay demanded $44 to print a label for a package that cost me $7 the other day.
