Getting back into paintball after a long time away and was directed here to look for Automag stuff (ran a Mag for a long time, wish I still had it). Been lurking for a while and wanted to say hi.
Glad I found this forum!

Thank you all for the welcome!
Ragu, I don't have any pics of my old mag. It was a 68 Classic and tbh the only other specific details that I can remember was that I was rocking a CP barrel and Smart Parts wood grips (I grew up in and still live in the home town of Smart Parts). It did have the same foregrip as the last mag pic you posted (minus the nice splash anno) but for the life of me I dont remember the name/brand.
I just picked up a used LV1.6. I would like to get back into an Automag eventually but I want to take my time and get the one I really want (as soon as I figure that out). I also want to see what the mech scene is like in my area (would be playing at Pittsburgh fields).Comment

Welcome!
It's helpful to choose an end goal with Mags first, unless you want to build three loaners from the spare parts you have. Spyders share a similar trait, except that with Mags, every part you actually buy is another loaner. Spyders do it for free, if you leave two of them in a box long enough.Comment
