My 5 year old and I made a toolbox.

We've read this book to all our kids. It's great and I recommend it. There are plans at the back of the book to make a toolbox like Bruno's.

My 5 year old wanted to make one and we had the chance today. It's not exactly square, and one side split while drilling the hole for the handle. He doesn't care at all.

Now to get him some paint!

That would be awesome. This is all glued together though. I wanted it to last for him.

You'll be pleased to know that it will. I built one of these when I was 5 with my dad at "Build and Grow with Lowe's." I'm 33, and I still have it in the garage.

What is his name? I'll put it on a Plaque and you can glue/screw it on there

Isaiah has now painted his toolbox and affixed a wonderful placard given to him from tunaman5 who, in my estimation, has now qualified for the coolest person of the year.

Isaiah is very excited to have his toolbox. You'd think he's driving a new Ferrari. Now to come up with more projects to do with him!

Father & Son projects. Dang, I am jealous!

There are severas l YouTubers that post about simple projects from 2x4 & 2x6. If you jump in quick you can make the pumpkin profiles before Halloween. From memory, it takes thr board, several cuts, glue and fasteners, paint plus twine.

Znd just a suggestsuggestmark everything "Handcrafted by Isaiah and Dad." Talk about legacy items! Get a stencil for easy painting your logo. If its something you both enjoy (and can afford it) get a desktop cnc machine or laser engraver. :-)

Thznkyou for the ray of sunshine.
