60s style skateboard cruiser for $7...

plus some blood (literally), sweat and tears. Basically if you have an old deck, roller skates, hardware, grip, and some hand tools you can Portuguese Macgyver your own 60s homebrew skateboard. Popularized by Neil Blender also known as the "Polarizer"

Basically been skating instead of paintball since I've been in super dad mode. Miss all y'all

Ps. My old piece of crap sawzall is going in the garbage

Polarizers are indeed fun. Great for warming up or just cruising around

Any bushing recommendations? Mjne are from the 70s. I did shave those and switch the bottom with an old medium bones but still not great. These are old style flathead trucks

I’d advise something very soft, I got some longboard venom bushings in mine.
