I’m looking for the right Canadian

I’m looking for the right Canadian that can help me order 2 sets of the Wyze switches and then send it to the US apparently they won’t send this to the US anymore
Turn normal lights into smart lights and control them from anywhere. Multi-tap to control other Wyze devices like Wyze Cams, Wyze Lock, and Wyze Robot Vacuum.

Try posting in the Canadian forum. I can help out, but you likely want to get someone closer as I'm on the West Coast. Maybe one of the Ontario boys an help.

There are other brands that will work. Lutron makes such switches and you can control just about anything from anywhere in the world.

Yes, I know, but I just want the ability to turn off the lights via my phone when my kids leave them on at night. Also, if I have to switch to Lutron, it is very expensive it would cost as much as 3 wyze swithes

Lutron would do all that and a whole lot more, but you're right, switching would cost some.

I cross frequently as I live within 5 minutes of a crossing. The problem is not proximity to the border but the actual shipping back to you.

If shipped to Canada, when we cross the border to the US to ship with USPS, US border security requires filling out a form which is not easy to locate and it never seems to be the right one or was filled out with the vague instructions provided. In addition to the form and if you are driving (likely), they charge a conveyance fee of approximately $15 just to look at your form and point out where you effed it up. If you walk across, just the form is required but the same shite attitude is often encountered. Then we have to pay USPS to ship it to you.

If shipped to Canada and then shipped back with Canada Post to the US who hands off to USPS, less hassle but shipping is more expensive. With the current trade "issues", we need to fill out two documents online and then pay a tariff based on where the item was manufactured. I would pay a tariff to ship you a Planet Eclipse marker (made in England) but not for a Bob Long etc. If you don't mind paying more for shipping and tariffs, this is the easier route for the sender. Wyze cameras are made in China. At the moment, Wyze only has 3 packs of the switches at $79 CDN ($56 US). The tariff on this would be $29.63 CDN. Shipping to the US would be approximately $25-30. So in summary, 56+21+21 = 98 USD for three light switches.

Currently, you can buy them on ebay for slightly cheaper than the 33 USD via Canada route.
