If iron maiden does not get rock and roll half fame bad thing for them

if iron maiden does not get into rock and roll hall fame. they have issue on who they let in and how get voted for. some on that list are not rock and roll bands and some bands they let so far never where rock and roll band. unless they think anyone that sings is rock and roll singer. only five or seven artists get chance to get in

      ...awards don’t matter.

Being in the RRHoF means you have a great publicist/lawyer and/or that you know Jeff Lynne. Quality/social relevance doesn’t enter into it. It’s a back scratching club.

When Yes got in, if anything, I lost respect for them. It means they actually wanted to be in and spent money and time campaigning for it which doesn’t improve my opinion of them in the slightest. They don’t need it. Tied with ELP as the greatest technical prog band ever, and they never have to “update” their lyrics or apologize for horrible shit they’ve done. They are as “the greatest” as anyone could be. Why do I want to see them win an award? I live sorta close (by American standards) and have never visited the dump. I’d much rather stay home and learn more Yes songs.

PS: Maiden rules, can’t say enough good stuff about them. When I was a kid this was the “bad” music you didn’t want your child being consumed by. Now that I’m a parent and Maiden have aged decades I couldn’t disagree more. Maiden is *exactly* what I want my kid to listen to. Technical, educational, inspirational, and ass kicking, smart as hell and never arrogant.

Out of that list this is who I would select.

Fela Kuti, Dionne Warwik, Tina Turner, and Chaka Khan would get a selection for some of the other categories they have with Fela Kuti way out in front.

these five need to go in since pave the way for type of music and made new subtype of music in rock and roll

          DEVO
          The Go-Go’s
          Iron Maiden
          New York Dolls
          Rage Against the Machine

but foo fighters can get in later over fact to top female singers should get since soul R&B and pop rock singers and close thing to rock and roll over other people one list like LL Cool J and Jay-Z

          Tina Turner
          Dionne Warwick

Iron Maiden should be #1 on that list to get in

They haven't been relevant in decades. It's long been pay-to-play.

That having been said, Maiden and New York Dolls kick ass.
